Featured in GRIP’s "Ain't Ok" Music Video

Fists are flying in GRIP’s new music video for “Ain’t Ok”!

I got to end 2022 with a real bang on set as a featured fighter in Atlanta rapper GRIP’s “Ain’t Ok” music video (shot right here in Brooklyn, NYC!). Me and some other actor-combatants from New York Combat for Screen & Stage (NYCSS) can be seen throwing punches, wrestling each other to the ground, and egging on the violence in a night out gone horribly awry. Catch me as the fighter in the red dress jumping on one of the club goers (the loveliest of fight partners, Ashleigh Awusie) and beating up another club goer (the incomparable Kaitlyn Farley) who’s already down and out on the floor.

Not only was it great to work with friends (fight director and NYCSS instructor Tony Mita, and fellow actor-combatants Ashleigh Awusie, Chris Robinson, Collin Orton, Kaitlyn Farley, and Mabon Gibson), but it was also really nice to meet and work with the wonderful production team headed up by director Adewale Olukayode. And, of course, it was super amazing to get to meet the wildly talented GRIP and be part of his work!
